Pineapple Bacon Cheese Ball


One of my favorite things about this time of year is the big Super Bowl party we attend or sometimes host. We’re a football family so when the big game comes, we sort of go all out. This recipe is my favorite dish to bring to a party. It takes 10 minutes to make and literally goes with anything.

I get most of my groceries at my local Fred Meyers which carries some of my favorite Kroger brands. I also love the uncured bacon by Hormel.


Pineapple Bacon Cheese Ball

  • 2 8 oz packets of cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 6 pieces of bacon, crumbled

  • 1/4 c of chopped green onion

  • 1/2 c of crushed pineapple

  • sliced almonds


  1. Combine cream cheese, bacon, chopped green onions and crushed pineapple in a medium bowl.

    Tip: Be sure to include the white part of the green onion. It gives it extra flavor.

  2. Form into a ball and wrap with plastic wrap.

  3. Refrigerate for 1-24 hours.

    Tip: 24 hours gives it a chance to really marinate the flavors together into the cream cheese.

  4. Remove and coat the outside with almonds and serve immediately.
